VOIP / DIGITAL VOICE SERVICE ADDENDUM
This VoIP Addendum applies only to customers who subscribe to Unwired Access Digital Voice services and supplements the MSA.
1. IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING 911 / E911
Digital Voice service operates differently than traditional landline telephone service.
1.1 E911 Registration

You must provide and maintain an accurate service address for E911 functionality.

Failure to do so may result in:

Emergency calls being routed incorrectly

Emergency responders receiving inaccurate location data
2. LIMITATIONS OF DIGITAL VOICE SERVICE
You acknowledge and agree that:

Digital Voice service requires electrical power

•
Service will not function during power outages unless backup power is provided

•
Network outages, congestion, or upstream failures may prevent call completion
-
•
Calls to 911 may fail under certain conditions
3. INCOMPATIBLE DEVICES
Digital Voice may not be compatible with:

Alarm systems
-
•
Medical monitoring devices
-
•
Fax machines
-
•
Dial-up modems
-
•
Rotary phones
-
•
PBX or legacy phone systems
You are solely responsible for verifying compatibility.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY – VOIP
Unwired Access shall not be liable for:

Failure to reach emergency services

•
Incorrect routing of emergency calls

•
Service outages or call quality issues
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Unwired Access from all claims related to:

911/E911 failures
-
•
Emergency response delays
-
•
Incompatible equipment
5. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
If your account is suspended or terminated for any reason:

Digital Voice service (including 911/E911) will be disabled immediately
6. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By using Digital Voice services, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these limitations and risks.
